How to get there & getting around.
Arrival and check out times
Departure time is before noon on July 16th.
The nearest airports are:
Rome, Florence (Firenze), and Pisa
The Milan airport is a 5+ hour drive to the farmhouse. You can take a train from Milan to Florence to rent a car… but consider planning extra time to arrive to your car rental location as most car rentals in Florence close at 6pm or 7pm.
Please feel free to email Chelsea if you have questions about your flight plan coordinating with the start of the trip.
Train to car rental
If you prefer not to rent your car in Rome, Florence, or Milan… we suggest taking the train to Chiusi or Arezzo to rent your car. The train station names: Chiusi-Chianciano Terme or Arezzo
Driving from Chiusi or from Arezzo is appx 40 minues to the farmhouse.
If you are meeting someone who has rented a car, the nearest train station to the farmhouse is: Sinalunga.
If you do not rent a car in Rome or Florence, and you’d like to arrive by train to a nearby town, we suggest Chiusi-Chianciano Terme to rent a car.
Trenitalia is the Italian train system. If you are taking the train from the Rome Airport, the station name is: Fiumicino Aeroporto
