Enjoy a week-long getaway in a beautiful, private farmhouse in the Tuscan hills.

The farmhouse is a quiet retreat in the countryside of Tuscany. It’s close to many beautiful towns that are easily accessible for day trips by car or train.

All levels welcome.

Summer is the time to go out on a limb, push your boundaries, and explore new places both within and without. This retreat will be boundary-pushing not only for the destination but also for the yoga and the journey. Yoga sequences will be light and joyful at times and offer a chance for a deeper, challenging practice.

Your new favorite wine region!

A quaint medieval walled-city, that leaves many ready to make it their new home.

Hot springs

Bagni San Filippo is one of the many hot springs you can visit in Tuscany.

A 1-hour drive will take you to the lovely town of Montalcino. An amazing wine region, and a beautiful town worth visiting.

Some of the best views of the Val d’Orcia can be seen from the town of Pienza (an ideal town), one of the most picturesque regions of Tuscany. It’s a 45-minute drive from the farmhouse, and has the best gelato maker around!

Highly recommended to rent a car to see nearby towns, thermal pools, and road side sunflowers!

Centro Montauto is 10 km west from the intersection of Autostrada A1 (E35) and Raccordo Siena-Bettolle.

The Sinalunga station is the nearest to the farmhouse.

Our favorite things to do nearby…

A beautiful town to walk around and shop for Italian made artisan goods.

Amazing antiques market on the first Sunday of each month, so you have a chance to experience this on your first full day. Also, the movie Life is Beautiful was filmed here.

The Beach

About 1.5 hours by car is a beautiful beach called Marina di Alberese in the Parco Regionale della Maremma.

Amazing Coffee!

Loscuro is a great café near the farmhouse. They roast their coffee and make pastries in house.

A medieval walled town 10 minutes from the farmhouse. The BEST gelato we’ve ever had is in the town.

Under the Tuscan Sun was filmed here, and it’s definitely worth a visit!

Italian wine at it’s best. The vineyards in Montalcino produce some of the tastiest wines around. The town itself is a gem on top of a mountain, and there are tons of wineries to visit in the area.

Wonderful hill town in Umbria with the famous Basilica of Saint Francis d’Assisi.

Busy town with fun shopping and beautiful churches.

Etruscan Treasures

Lots of really interesting Etruscan tombs and artifacts around Tuscany. Top 5 Etruscan Museums in Tuscany

Thermal Pools

There are two great thermal baths 10 minutes from the farmhouse to experience hot sulphur pools. Great skin treatment, and super relaxing after yoga.

Terme San Giovanni: The mineral waters flow from the source at a temperature of 39° C. The natural elements that they contain are mainly composed of sulphur and calcium bicarbonate. Combined with the high temperatures of the spa water, these two components provide healing properties that are particularly effective in treating skin problems, as well as the motor and respiratory systems.

Terme Antica Querciolaia: Calcium-bicarbonate waters with a crystalline transparency and a slightly salty taste, rich in mineral salts released by the rocks along their deep waterways. Temperatures of the usable thermal springs vary from 22° – 40° celcius.

Wild hot springs: Beautiful natural hot springs that are free to access.
